Chicago born, Aeriel has been creative since birth. Being involved in art, theatre, and music at an early age, she always knew that she wanted to be in the industry in some capacity. Once she discovered that she wanted to be a makeup artist, she taught herself the art through makeup books, and going around to art schools to do makeup for student-photographers in exchange for photographs. Already coming from a creative background as a sketch artist, it did not take her long to catch on to the art of makeup. Her first break came when WWD hired her for a bridal editorial. The art director mentioned her work to a local agent who was impressed, and decided to represent her. And so the career began…

New York based, Aeriel has worked across the U.S as well as Canada, Mexico, South Africa, and Greece. Her work has graced the pages of magazines such as Marie Claire, In Style, Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, Dazed and Confused, Elle, and L'Officiel. She has had the opportunity to do makeup for designers such as Tommy Hilfiger, Isaac Mizrahi, Venacava, Tracy Reese and, Auguste Soesastro. She has also worked on TV shows such as, The Tyra Show, Project Runway, and Anderson Cooper Live. With her beautiful style of makeup, great personality and her technique of making anyone feel comfortable, she has been requested to work with celebrities such as Nancy O’Dell, Tracy Reese, Yara Shahidi, Jessica Oyelowo, Matt Dillion, Venus and Serena Williams, and Theo James, to name a few. Her resume also includes advertising and catalog clients like Izod, Ralph Lauren, Sony, Macy’s, Target, and Amazon.
